Opening Reception A Success!

The Opening Reception for Artist Barbara Brenton on Friday evening at the gallery was a huge suucess.  The poetry (ekphrasis) presented by Elaine Plummer was a delightful addition to the event.  Great fun with lots of good people, good conversation and refreshments.

Barbara Brenton and I hung her artwork in my gallery and it looks wonderful!  I am looking forward to her Opening Reception tonight and the ekphrasis by Elaine Plummet.  Should be fun!

March Featured Artist

It's hard to believe that this Friday,tomorrow,will be the last opening reception for an artist in my gallery until next year.  Barbara Brenton will exhibit her mixed media artwork,"All About Color".  Her work is monochromatic and explores the value range of one color.  Also,her friend,Elaine Plummer,  will accompany the artwork with "Ekphrakis" - poetry that has been inspired by the artwork and expands the viewer's understanding and appreciation of it.  Elaine will present 2 poems at 6:45.  Should be a wonderful evening.
